Perception check at the beach North-East of Rivington: what for?
Three of my people succeeded a perception check, yet I don't see anything new I can interact with near that point. No hidden entry, no hidden object, no button, levers or traps, nothing. No mentioning of an ambush either. Now I wonder what the check was for.
It kinda looks like there is an entry to a cave or tunnel, but there is nothing I can do. Nothing marked on my map or anywhere either.
There was a corpse I could talk to a little further away, but I doubt that was it.

Do I have to succeed the perception check with all four team members?
Is there something I miss?
Did something not trigger properly?
Can I only interact with what ever there is after I have done something somewhere else?

Just wondering...

I can add a screenshot if necessary, which shows the location I mean and the combat log (nothing there either, it only states that my MC, Karlach and Jaheira succeeded a check and that Astarion failed it).

I'm just wondering what it was for, as there seems to be nothing I can interact with.
Got it: It`s a tight fissure. There is another access to that cave. The other access is from the well front of Open Hand Temple.

From what I recall it's just a digging spot.

Thanks for responding.
While I think the survival check I passed a little earlier was for the buried treasure, your answer most likely means that it can't have been anything important.

You can swap out party members to have them try and succeed the perception test, it works with hirelings too if you get really bad luck.

@Grinch: But I *succeeded* the check... with three of my team members. Thank you anyway.
I intend to return later anyway, with the fourth team member swapped out, in case there is something I need to do somewhere else first.

Can tell you only for sure with a screenshot of the area. Could be related to a bug report. Or just missed treasure as mentioned above.

You can dig in any spot by using the shovel, even if there's no dirt mound. Try that. Of course, if there's no dirt mound, nothing will be found.

Are you speaking of a buried chest at the end of the beach X:65,Y:90? If not just tell me the location and I will tell it.

Thank you, @Belgix.
So if I don't find the fissure, I won't miss that much (I have been down the well already, not much there.)

If you got there from the well, you need to jump on the little platform at the end of the path and the exit is just there.
