Amulet of Bhaal

What happens if you sell the Amulet of Bhaal, or drop it on the floor, or equip it to someone.

I know you need it later, but the game doesn't tell you what you've done with it.

Luckily I found Minsc wearing it, but only because I searched someone else's issue and saw they had also equipped it on Minsc.

So my question is, if we do lose it, what are we meant to do to recover it?

You dont need it. You can satisfy the door to the Temple of Bhaal by shooting down the hanging corpses nearby, they will splatter the platform with blood.

She absolutely dance. She has the music in her (it tells her to murder people).

I think I sold my amulet and now I can't finish my game :(
The worst part is that I did the murder tribunal quest a lifetime ago and it seems that my old saves got deleted
