Gather Your Allies, how many is average?

I've only played through the game once, but I only had 3 allies who joined me for the final battle- Astarion, Ravenguard, and Auntie Ethel (and I missed out of multiple companions on general). It felt pretty light, how baby did you guys have?

I had ~8-10 or so, I think. Maybe more?

I remember having more than I got the chance to use in the battle even with calling them in every turn. More than eight.

I got Ygir, Demmon with the Owbear, Arabella, Mol, Zevlor, Nightsong and Isobel, the iron gnomes, Volo, Voss and the giths, Florrick with the fists,Rolan, plus ascended astarion, Halsim / Jaheira .

I may be missing someone but I think that’s about right

More than 10 is the average and you did most of the side quests

On my durge I had 4. I completed all my companions quests, murdered almost everyone who smiled, looked, or breathed in my direction

I had 9, and ended up using Nightsong, the strange ox, the owl bear, and the "guild" most were underwhelming, and they serve best as cannon fodder so your party doesn't take hits, so don't call on anyone you actually like. I spent too much time defending the owl bear

I had 12 last time, I used them pretty liberally in the first part and the final part of those battles. I tried not to use them as fodder (except Dame Aylin since she's the perfect tank), and managed to not fully lose any units by doing a slow and steady push together. It was very fun.

I had nearly the entire wheel filled...so there's what 12 slices in a pizza. So like 10 I think.

What is Arabella's contribution in this? I finished the game now a second time, in both playthroughs there was written in my questlog that Arabella will support me at the end, but both times she neither appeared in that meeting hall nore could I see a buff connected to her. Is that a bug or do I miss something?
