Imoen in BG3

I want to play BG3 as Imoen, and follow her experience and story ending in BG2. We know she is a legendary thief/mage, and leads the ShadowThief guild at the end of BG2.

Here are my thoughts on Imoen build in BG3: 3 thief /9 mage or 4 thief / 8 mage

It seems that thief/mage would be very difficult in 5E gameplay. Considering that Jaheira and Minsc also have different builds from BG2, Imoen may also make some changes in BG3.

I wonder if anyone has any better ideas to offer me for reference.

I think so too. Imoen may have survived for some reason, since she is also a bhaalspawn, just like the other bhaalspawn in BG3.

I want to play as Imoen, and reject Bhaal’s power, just like The Dark Urge.

If we were basing this off of my last BG2 playthrough, Imoen would still be sitting at home while Nalia was becoming an Archmage.

Dark Urge came about differently then the other spawn

Imoen gave up her divine spark to the MC in BG2 Throne of Bhaal. It makes no sense for her to be in BG3 like that.

Yeah, but to do it for multiple characters from BG1 and the Forgotten Realms setting in general? It's a bit of a stretch.

Volo and Minsc are already two odd exceptions of living past their expiration date. Three is a bit much.

But I suppose in the world of dragons and their respective dungeons, it could be excused.

Hadn't she turned into some kind of vampire or something at the end of bg2?

Imonen was pretty pathetic - she for sure died of old age. Regardless of there being magic.
