Grymforge Harpers stash (possible mini-spoilers)
In Grymforge there is an area near the stonemasons, where you can climb down and find 3 mimic chests and a toy chest . The place is marked with a Harper symbol.

While I was exploring the area I found a note, which triggered an investigation check - the characters said something like "we need to cast a light spell to reveal the stash". Some guides also confirm it.

This however never worked for me. I have the Guiding Light ring from the Arcane Tower on me. Casting light did nothing, but simply clicking on the toy chest indeed reveals a bigger chest. Is this the stash or I am missing an even better\bigger stash? Do I need to cast Light some other way?

Cast light on the big chest which appears -> that disarms the trap.

this is an EXCESSIVE amount of arm twisting for what amounts to a standard chest lock & trap combo + a detection roll to see it. Like about 25% of similar things in the game, you are very likely to find another way long before you stumble over the related document and put it all together. Things like this, by the way, are why I have had a low opinion of the harpers for decades. They appear to simply be idiots. They spent who knows how much time constructing a tough chest, putting a quality lock on it, putting a trap on it, making it invisible, making another small chest to unhide it, setting it all up, bringing in monsters to defend it (?), and then painting the worlds biggest "LOOT HERE" marker on the ground.

Its not a complaint. I think its cool that you can read a paper and puzzle out what to do etc. Its just the amount of foolishness involved, you would think the chest had 3 or 4 pinky-purple quality items.

Plot twist - the real treasure is inside the mimics :steamhappy:
So they set up a smart riddle that leads you to the stash chest, and put mimics in plain sight - the intention here being that people try to avoid mimics and grab the dummy loot from "the stash", hehe. This is a joke of course, but if I tried to defend the harpers I would pitch smth like this.

Noooooooooooooo
--SPOILER--
For my level 5 rogue assassin, I didn't need any light at all. I noticed the toy chest via Perception, which revealed the Harper Stash chest, which I disarmed and looted (after the Mimic battle). The challenge was killing the 3 Mimics. I accidentally found a fairly easy way to dispatch them the first time I got too close to the Mimic chest on the right side wall, then dashed away and up the cragged rocks. Note that you have to succeed the Perception check on this Mimic chest to have the opportunity to dash away. Mimics can't move too fast and cannot climb that wall. I was able to kill all 3 Mimics with my single rogue character by throwing grease, Arson's Fire potions, a smoke powder barrel and a few arrows down onto the slow-moving Mimics to kill them all safely. It took a few tries but I was able to do it from the top of the cragged rock wall. Just be forewarned, if a Mimic gets too close to that wall, they can shoot their tentacle up and yank you down. :)
