Mass summons?
I've seen some video of people with 5, 10, TWENTY summons, and I can't seem to figure out how it's done.

Any time I summon something, It removes my previous summon. The only time this isn't the case is when my Necromancy wizard casts animate dead on multiple corpses

Mods?

Summons only disappear when you use the same summon spell. Druids have at least 3 different summon spells. One of those (dryad) has her own summon spell. There's summon spells you can gain from feats and some non-humanoid "followers" you can also summon. Not sure if you can get ti 20, but you can sure get a lot.

Is that so? Hmm, so a druid could use conjure woodland being, conjure minor elemental, AND conjure elemental?

AND summon scratch
And Us
And Dance Macabre?

And animate dead from an item?

Probably mods, you can summon at best 3 different types of summons and the others are from story items/events. 20 is abit much.
4 from Danse Macabre
1 from elemental or planar ally
1 from spirit weapon or woodland being
1 from Us
1 from Scratch

Though you can get a bunch from animate dead because they summon temporary zombies.

Yes, you can do that and it's busted.

yes. Owl Bear cub to if you got that. There's also an item to summon a raven and a special scroll that teaches you to summon a "Cheeky Quasit" and wizards have Find Familiar, Wizards can also cast conjure elemental, there's Create Undead and Clerics have Planar Ally.

The cub is summonable? I couldn't find a related item to it.

He's here in my camp, he's had some interactions with scratch... Is there an item like scratch's ball I need to put in my inventory?

why u want summons anyway? They just slow down combat and npcs get scared while they are around.

20 is a lot for a single character, but since each druid can have 4 summons already, you can have Us, Scratch, Owl Bear plus Cheeky quasit if you have a Wizard, plus summons from items, I think you can get to 20 easily if you optimize your party for it.

Huh, maybe you can't, my bad

You won't get 20 Summons out of 1 single character, it's with different characters.
All you have to think of is that you cannot use the same spell again and again for more summons at a time.

But i mean... you can either multiply your summons when you respec your party to 4 of the same like 4 Druids, 4 wizards etc. or get several different summons with different classes in your party.

If you have a Druid, a Wizard, a Cleric and a Ranger for example
you could have

Druid
4 Woodland being (+1 the summon they can do), minor Elemental + Elemental (possibly more when spore druid)
Wizard Necromancer
7 find familiar, Animate Dead(1), Create undead(3), minor Elemental, elemental
Cleric (Light domain eg)
4 Animate Dead, Spiritual Weapon, Flaming sphere(domainspecific), planar ally
Ranger
2 find familiar + Beastmaster Animal Companion

= 17 Summons only due to class spells
if you also consider Items and Story elements which let you summon stuff... well..
thats + 4 with Dance macabre, +1 Scratch, +1 Us + 1 Animate dead with item, also Connor...
which makes it easy 25 summons

and if you also go and do 4 Wizard Necromancers....
thats 28 Summons with spells + the 8 additional ones i mentioned makes 36

And surely i forgot something

And all of that is without Mods.

Release it from beneath Moonrise in Act 2 unless you killed it in Act 1.
Heretical_Cactus Sep 17, 2023 @ 2:40am
I may have killed it in Act 2 then, thanks
