No real experience with Minsc or Minthara, they are just comming too late. And Halsin suffers from the presence of Jaheira whom have more quest involvement in Baldurs Gate.

My top 3 - whom also happens to have a LOT of plot development around them.

Karlach is overrated, I always respec her to a less fragile class, like fighter or paladin. Gale is not a sorcerer.

Karlach is overrated, I always respec her to a less fragile class, like fighter or paladin. Gale is not a sorcerer.

I'm genuinely asking this question as I'm not very far into the game yet, what makes karlach as a barbarian "fragile"? Seems to me selecting the correct rage classes and such makes her very tanky. There must be something I'm not privy too. Perhaps lower AC?

Based on their Stories through the campaign
1. Lae'zel (super consistent through all acts, love it)
2. Shadowheart (very interesting, peaks in Act 2 obviously and kinda late act 3)
3. Wyll (half carried by Mizora tbh but still very cool)
4. Gale
5. Astarion (has a nice story, but other than the introduction during act 1 and the high in act 3 there is not much happening with him through the campaign storywise.)
6. Karlach
7. Minthara

Based on their Character:
1. Karlach (how can you not love her)
2. Astarion (amazing side kick, very entertaining)
3. Lae'zel (best character development by far)
4. Shadowheart
and eh... the rest is on 5 i guess

Jaheira and Minsc are on special Place because you get them very very late and because you don't have that much story with minsc, although being entertaining does not do that much storywise. Loved Jaheiras company tho while exploring Baldurs Gate, many unique interactions between her and the Citizens of Baldurs Gate.

Halsin... is eh... idk. He was with us. Haven't done much with him so far tbh, will do that in the next playthrough i guess.

2 of them are amazing and doesn’t try to hook up with me , acting like true friends

The other 2 are hot and would hook up with me


The rest are boring or gay and their casual sexual advances without even asking me if I’m gay makes me feel uncomfortable in their company and instantly dislike them

Just dies fast as a barbarian, maybe im not good at playing the class. But fortunately Withers can fix a decidedly poor class preset for the npcs. Paladins or Fighters is more my thing.
