By the same logic, there should be games that say 'Straight Content'. C'mon. Also the game literally has 'sexual content' warning. Like that shiny 18 warning you see on the main page of the game? And with big letters next to it that say 'Sex, bad language, violence'
Sexual advances, yes. Lae'zel in particular is very... aggressive about it.
The player character (not "people") ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ a Druid shapeshifted into a bear (not a real bear) if and only if the player romances said Druid and agrees to it.
Other things you've conveniently ignored that I wouldn't want kids to see (and I imagine most people wouldn't):
- People dissolving into puddles of gore (one of them in great detail).
- Forcing characters to commit suicide in various gruesome methods (all visible in cutscenes).
- Forcing a character to eat itself to death.
- Kicking a small animal so hard it gets crushed upon impact and dies.
Just off the top of my head.
You are missing the point either internationally or unintentionally
I'm not listing every ridiculous argument
You know exactly what type of critique I deem illegitimate, everyone here knows so let's not play the 'pretend we don't know' game
So all the things I listed happen. I stopped playing with them after the first hour or so, so I never saw the other things you mentioned. Context is important, I agree.
Curious though, "One Bugbear"... like the line is at multiple? Or just attempting to downplay that it actually occurred (without warning originally)?
Uhm, I didn't know this crap would be in the game. Sorry to burst your assumption bubble here but I don't follow games like some thirsty fanboys do.
If by "originally" you mean "during early access", I can't comment. However, when I encountered the scene there was moaning, the narrator said something that an adult would understand means "people are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in there", and my companions said not to open the door. The bugbear inside also said to go away. There's plenty of warning, at least right now.
Ah, pedantry then, gotcha. I found it comical is all.
