so am i right in thinking forge boss must be superheated then crushed ?
yes... he has to be superheated 1st.... i mashed on him for like 15 mins with the forge doing no damage before realizing he had to be superheated
Honestly, the hardest boss in the game for me was a particular Devil in Act 3.
Laughs in Raphael
I didnt think he was very hard but playing magic classes does give you a lot of options. If I was using fighters...yeah that would be a bit of a pain. Err although I wonder if I could tank and beat him with Karlach if built right.
Another trick is dropping potions next you so the hammer can crush you, Grym and the potion together.
Prior to that, I got party wiped a couple times before figuring out his lava weakness.
That was the only truly challenging fight so far IMO. Some other stuff was challenging, but not even close to that.
1. He attacks the last person to damage him. So be careful with reactions like opportunity strike. It will reset his prime target.
2. He is vulnerable to bludgeoning when superheated. To superheat, get him in the lava. Any party member wirlth a hammer can kill him. Using the forge hammer is lol but not necessary.
Just drop a potion when you have to stand under the hammer. It gets crushed when the hammer gets down and auto-revives the character...
Anyroads I just read the obvious here. His Gryms mechanics are not that hard to understand if you observe normal.
You don't even need to use the hammer.
