How to get Zevlor for "Gather your allies"?
WARNING: Act 1, 2 and 3 spoilers surrounding Zevlor will follow.

So, I found out that Zevlor could be one of the allies for the final battle. I kept trying to look up where to find him, but nothing has helped... I (1) helped the refugees in Act 1 by killing the goblin leaders and (2) saved him from the mind flayer colony before the second fight with Ketheric at the end of Act 2. These are the only two prerequisites I am seeing online to have Zevlor as one of your final NPC allies, and yet, I do not have him.

Is there something I am missing? Am I able to find him somewhere in Act 3? For context, I already attempted the final battle but ended up backpedalling to try and gather more allies after multiple failed attempts.

I only saw him at the final push in Act 3. Whatever I said to him before is what made him show up. I don't remember specific choices, but I focused on redemption/protection, that kind of thing.

I think that depend on your dialogue choice in act 2. i've tell him to search for survivors during act 2 and in act 3 some tiefling have tell me zevlor have run off.

I believe I asked him to join me in the Ketheric fight, to which he declined out of fear of betraying people again, and then insisted that he is going to go look for other survivors while I face Ketheric

Zevlor joins you during the ending if he A.) Survives Act 1, and B.) is found and cheered up in the mystery flesh-pit at the end of Act 2. I think it was just a persuasion check, it wasn't a class-restricted special option or anything. Just affirm he did the best he could have and remind him that his people still need him.

Like Silyon says, you'll need to find him in the illithid 'flesh pit' at the end of act 2; I never could find him, and later (early Act 3) one of the bad bosses made 'an example' of him.

I did hear about a certain bad boss doing that to him, and I have already defeated said boss, and no such thing had happened in my game. I guess I just got some kind of neutral ground with Zevlor, where I saved him but he didn't become my ally

I don't recall any dialogue with checks in them after saving Zevlor, so I am not sure what I missed... I have saved Zevlor in two playthroughs now too, one of which I saved the tieflings who were in moonrise prison, but the other playthrough I did not. Both resulted in similar dialogue with Zevlor, only difference was I could tell him the others were safe. In both cases though, I never got the option for a persuasion check and he never joined me as an ally. This was also the last time I saw Zevlor, like I never saw him after the Ketheric fight. Was I supposed to go back and find him again? In which dialogue with him does the persuasion check come up? Wouldn't hurt to know for future runs
