Grymforge quests

I've been exploring the Grymforge waiting for Shadowheart to say something, but she hasn't really said or done anything out of ordinary besides commenting on the Shar related stuff, I was under the impression something big related to her personal quest would happen here. Can I safely proceed to Act 2?

Yes, she will mostly talk about the Shar stuff.

Also it depends on how often you do long rest - if not enough, some stuff might just not come up because you will advance too much into the story

As long as have find the Nightsong quest you should be good. Confused me to, but don't think all the brief hints on Nightsong matter. That are all over the place in Act 1 as long as you have the quest to find it. In Act 2 you will get a chance to go to the Sharr temple where she will talk to Sharr. Afterwords you can search for the Nightsong. Those two must be done during Act 2 before reaching Act 3. If want to advance in her questline.

There's also a Statue of Shar that you can grab, and if you happen to be a Cleric of Selune, well.... fun times.

she only really prompted me when i a)grabbed the armor

b)was on the upper central walkway.

otherwise she never said anything of value in the grym for me.

Is the shar temple the place you can see from the distance from the grymforge?

Is it the idol of shart on the opposite end of the corridor where you find the Dark orb? cuz I picked it and she just said something and then nothing

Yeah, you can gift it to her, but as I said, Cleric of Selune gets the best interaction out of it. Try it out by loading a save and respeccing before you give it to her, especially if you romance her ;)
