probably not, it seems to be a cleric only thing. Is a mod that gives it back to paladins though as the trigger seems to exist for them.

without any perks, its just flavor text, pointless. Even for clerics and pally. It should grant their favorite weapon proficiency and possibly some other minor perks, but all that seems to have gone away.

There is a Mod witch gives you them for all clases ... And there is this mod updated (from a nother mod-maker) that have this feature NOT.
I love the feature, too.

Deities have always been a Cleric-only feature in BG3.

You should play Pathfinder: KingMaker and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and Solasta.

-Real Alignment ( with real Alignment restrictions, and dialogue choices which affect Alignment changes) you know like it's supposed to be.

-Deity selection and bonuses (which include Domain Spells, Channeling and restrictions for the chosen Deity and favored weapons) you know like it's supposed to be.

The Truth: Larian are just removing more stuff from the game that offends people, like even the thought of a fantasy God existing, is simply too much for them.

BG2 had Alignments, BG2 had Deities. And BG2 dialogue choices and game decisions directly affected your Alignment and your role playing experience.

BG3 is a shallow puddle of an attempt at a RPG.:steamfacepalm:

lvl 0 account troll detected.
dnd 5 is based on rules as written without alignment. here clerics have one for just extra fluff text. in 5e u dont need a deity or alignment cuz WOTC dont want it, its not larian. it was too forcing for people, DMs were focused on alingments from players not the actual roleplay so it was cut out cuz community dont like it.

Have you even played Solasta? Alignment and Deity-selection don't mean ♥♥♥♥. It's also more of a tactics game with lite exploration elements than an RPG; certainly less of an RPG than BG3.

Are you just shilling anything DnD that's not BG3? At least play the games you're trying to sell to people; ignorance is a bad look when you're trying to peddle an agenda.

Was that ever in EA? I actually can't remember and I've played it for a couple years. I remember Clerics having the choice to pick a deity, even evil deities and major plot deities like Shar and the dead 3, but I don't remember being able to pick one for any other class.

Anyway, it was fun finding out you can pick one in Act 3.

You mean the game where at least five different gods serve major plot points? You're very good at ignoring inconvenient facts, while presenting your personal opinions as truth.

I will comment that playing as a Cleric of Talos you get some pretty funny stuff. They prayers are so off beat. My fav was the one for Mayrina's husband. Her response of horrow and "WHAAAT WAS THAT!?" my be one of the bet laughs ive gotten out of the game so far.

I do wish it extended a beyond clerics, since in Faerun being an athiest/agnostic is full blown idiocy. Its known the gods walked around destroying cities a century ago, its known thats where clerics derive powers, and its even commonly known that if you aren't sworn to a deity you end up in the wall of the faithless.

It means your mod is broken/uninstalled/deactivated. This isn't in the game natively.

it was in the game in EA, if you had played before release you would know that

I don't recall ever selecting a deity the few times I played in EA. Ranger and Druid, no deity selection at all.
