*WARNING* Spoilers "Githyanki Egg" Ending
I just finished the game for the first time and had Laezael gave me a sudden surprise (romanced). The egg she has been carrying since I stole the egg (she was present with me at the time) has been in her inventory the entire time. In act 3 the egg was mentioned by Lazael (in camp) and was a foreshadow of events to come for the egg. This was due to her wanting and yearning to be a mother.

In the prologue I had chosen Laezael to be free and come with me. Which still lead to her doing what she wanted, freeing her people and dragging me along with (they were already hunting us anyways). But this slight difference, there is a specific dialogue of the egg. Named Xan and people caring for Xan and having a home for Xan in place and an own set of people to look after.

This is possibly the best ending for Lazael, as she does what she wants, gets her freedom, possibly raises an army, knows motherhood, and most likely finds an Heir suitable in power to lead the Gith later on (due to what the egg hatches into in game).

Edit. Found what I was looking for.

I never hand the egg over to the Adventurer and the last two times I simply told her that I found her repulsive and killed her, because I draw the line at stealing the unborn for a eugenics experiment.

they also added a camp dialog early in the game (once you have the egg in your inventory) hinting that you should keep it and absolutely not give it away. I think it is also the only scene were lae"zel show an emotion that isn't violence XD

My most recent run I gave her the Owlbear Egg instead and convinced her it was the Gith Egg

Nice. I've never managed to hit that DC, so instead I just convince her that the society of brilliance won't know the difference, which is an easier check, if I don't make her attack me for the intention alone.
