The game is mature 17+ rating.
Don’t let ”Young people” play it.
Funny how "mature" still doesn't allow you to buy beers.
But I agree with OP, I tried a replay with more evil approach and failed finish it, probably a lot because of this evil approach.
i won't say it's not useful, evils paths make talk more, and tend mark more, they tend be loved by some players, and even for good path it's important it's there not illusions of choices.
But really that's a lot of work for meh. I'm playing Mass Effect, and have a blast currently with ME2, the series choose an opposition diplomat/welcoming/compassionate versus pragmatic/rude/making difficult choices/a bit selfish I suppose.
The writing didn't follow it 100% and tend also stick first to more good when diplomat smiling people can be infect manipulators, and second more to evil even if it makes sense. But i was thinking that it was a good idea to make evil paths more tolerable for most players, and all in all still better than grey alternative not only hard to do properly but annoying when overused.
Really?
Let’s go over this…
I’ve been playing violent video games since the mid 80s.
I’ve been watching violent movies and horror movies since about the same time.
I read horror literature.
I listen to Death and Black Metal.
According to you, I should be a violent, monstrous psychopath who slaughters innocents in ritual sacrifices to the Prince of Darkness.
And in reality? I’m a total softie with a Westie pupper who doesn’t even like holding a firearm..
But all your answer is fake:
You was a goodie goodie in the many games you killed ton of, nazi/zombies/evil aliens/mafia/evil humans/more.
The main character wasn't an horror in most horror literature you read.
Even the few rare cases like hero is a serial killer are deeply fake as the serial killer still try be a goodie goodie and achieve it, to only kill very evil people.
Nobody care of kiddish satan ideas of Death and Black Metal, or some psycho, it's just music with game around the image.
You have watch many violent movies but in mostly all hero was quite a goodie goode or trying be it. Pick Breaking Bad as a typical example, sure in a way the main character evolves gradually to pure evil, but it's not that brutal and conscious.
So no your answer is pure fake.
EDIT:
And then let be clear, it evolved, hero was goodie goodie, but they started feel predictive, annoying, so heroes evolved to have dark sides and be more complex and less predictive. But it's still far to evil paths you can see in a game as BG3.
And for me that would be a better track for having alternate a bit opposed tracks, but as far I know/remember, no game tried.
So you somehow watched me play all those games and you know all the movies and books I’ve read? Are you stalking me? Or are you making up stuff that you couldn’t possibly know?
Cute straw man.
But ok if not where's the list? But you'll have none without look like very weird.
It’s funny you think I need to justify myself to liar like yourself.
But here’s an example.
I used to mod for Carmageddon that turned the people back to people after they got changed to zombies on release. The mod was issued on cds with games magazines at the time.
