And it is not needed to get data from reddit to see that Larian was uninterested in human, as they didnt even bother to implement variant. Game needs modding.
This is not a problem with human race in fantasy, this is a problem with developers/creators. Lack of imagination and lazy thinking, that there is nobody that would like to play them anyway.
>if there is DnD, I play Human Druid
Absolute kek.
I dont sell you my druid, I can be lazy if I want. But still, I wouldnt call it lazy. It is character that I like and what I do with character is the real game. Buuuut for some people, game is finished when you finish character. Sad for you.
1) Half-elves;
2) Humans;
3) Elves.
With very little gaps between them in terms of popularity. My first character was also half-elf. Half-elf master race ftw.
Of course humans have not much going on because no one bats an eye if a human comes along. No one asks for any human things because everyone knows them already. They are everywhere.
If a Gith appears on the other hand than that is not only rare but also often not welcome. Just ask God's favorite princess. Additionally is there a whole map part just with Gith content, who all react to them and vice versa. You even have - and hold on to your butts, this is almost a spoiler - a Gith in your party! That you can talk to about many things "Gith". Shocking, innit?
Or in other words - nothing to see here (or there), attempt was once again a stupid one.
*Plays as human.
*Is disappointed.
Yeah that checks out.
Not everybody plays dnd for some elven bullcrap.
