If so-called woke devs cared about equity, inclusivity, or diversity as they call it, then their games would reflect that. There would be racist, sexist, and homophobic characters/dialogue choices/story lines in their games, just like there are in real life. Two-percent of you may ask: "Why would they add those things?" Adding these things would create even greater immersion. Raise the stakes. Create new dynamics. They would make the game more rich and interesting for the same reason adding killing, murder, stealing, and burglary into video games made them more interesting.

A truly diverse virtual world would have the aforementioned. Unfortunately, game devs will never add this type of thing because they're not actually interested in diversity and inclusivity. Diversity and inclusivity to them means something different; to them, something is more inclusive or diverse the further it is away from white, male, heterosexual, Christian, and conservative. If a game were entirely comprised of black characters, then it'd be called inclusive and diverse by game journalists.

Woke games mostly just have the characters immediately make the point of their sexual identity right away.
That fills a couple things, it's DEI money and it's identity politics both right now not popular.
Also it's really a lack of class and good manners, basically low class behavior to identify sexual orientation outside of the proper context. Most people would never dream of doing such a thing unless intentionally bring psychological harm on someone else, yes I said it it has been done on purpose in politics for the purpose of hurting other people and sustaining the hate in this world an I won't even entertain others with questions on this you either get it or don't.
West has worked hard to revitalize the stupid hate wars that were pretty much dead as a doornail in late 90s early 2000s.
We had Mass Effect games for crying out loud. 9\10 point games in 2000s.
Politics is a joke right now, never ever is it an actual debate or issue, always your a racist or I identify as a plane.
