Mods not syncing/working with partner

So, we have spent hours uninstalling mods, reinstalling mods together (even down to the same exact order we download the mods in) and it still gives us the 'error, mods don't match' message. What are we doing wrong? Please send help. thanks~

Why do you not just synchronise your mod files?

Is there a way to do that in the new update? We downloaded all the same mods together in the game itself. Should I go copy the contents of the mod folder and move it over to her computer like before?

I went to the data files where everything is and the mod folder is empty. All the mods we have now are currently in the game's new Mod Manager. I don't know how to fix this issue

Having the same issue as OP. Hoping for some advice :)

I have the same issue. From what I've read in various places on this forum, using any mods will break the ability to play online multiplayer with Patch 7. Even if everyone has the same mods, in the same order. The one solution which worked for me is for everyone to roll the game back to Beta 6 for the time being. Multiplayer should work then. If not, I can't help anymore.

Me and my brother are having the same exact problem it's so annoying, I really hope Larian fixes this soon. Are you using another mod manger as well as the in game mod manager?

I'm only using Steam Workshop mods, and I only attempted to use them when Beta 7 was released.

That's a pity, I miss some of the old mods we were using, hopefully those are added to the new area soon or the makers of BG3 allow other mods to be used. I appreciate the replies though! thanks everyone ^w^
