You can also open the stats edit, Press 'Ctrl + F' to bring up the search menu.
With the search menu, it will say "Local" by default. This will search whatever category you have selected on the left side.
If you're looking for a specific spell, you can click "Local" and change it to global. This way you can search all the spells.
For example, if i'm trying to create an Ice version of Fireball, I can do the following steps:
1. Open the Stats Editor.
2. Ctrl + F
3. Switch Local to Global
4. Search Fireball
Now i can browse all the results for the data related to the fireball spell. I'd likely look first for "Projectile" as the category. Then I can i double click it and it will take me to the entry in the Stats editor. I can now use this as an example of where to start for a similar spell.
Keep in mind that many spells have secondary parts to them tied to Status.Boost, Passives, and other categories.
Here's a list of spells in the Wiki: https://bg3.wiki/wiki/List_of_all_spells
That said, some of the spells are in the game with different names in the editor, so you may need to dig around a little.
Thank you for the tips.
