Where should I save the game to get every ending?
So I'm on my second run, attempting Honor Mode, and since I plan to go after every achievement, I'm wondering if its possible to get all the remaining endings in one save file without having to play the game multiple times (I'll probably still need another run, but still, I want to get those out of the way).

I know Honor Mode doesn't let you have more than one save, but I'd create a back-up of the file to use after I finish it, just to see the other endings.

I'm playing as the Dark Urge btw. Is the Bhaal ending exclusive to it? And if so, do I need to do something specific with Orin in order to unlock said ending? I'm still near the end of act 1, but I know that DUrge has several unique interactions with Orin, for obvious reasons. Speaking of her, what's that one about getting the Slayer form? How do I get it?

You won't get every ending in a single save. There are too many variables.

At the beginning. And not even then. Your origin pick already has affect on the the available outcomes.

You can find the rest of your answers just by googling / reading the wiki. Good luck.

Impossible by all means. It already starts in your character editor where you choose whether you want to play as Durge or not; even if you do an evil playthrough as non-Durge, it all starts there already and with the next update there will likely be even more possibilities.

its impossible to get all Endings in 1 save. you need at least 3 Savefiles for the "normal" ones

-> Good / Neutral /Durge /

but now comes the kicker ;P there are Spessifc Endings for some of the ORIGIN Charakters ^^

so either you dont try to get "ALL ENDINGS" and just play as you like or you start a Youtube Bingewatch, there are compilations of "most" of the endings.

Remember, there is even an "Ending" which only "34" out of MILLIONS of players found after a year -> check the Larian Anniversary update Stat List ^^

Edit:

Just a info, even with the "Party Limit be Gone" - Mod its not possible to get all endings. you dont even bother trying to mod the game to get everything in 1 run xD ...

Alright I think I needed to clarify: I don't want to get every single ending variation in existence, just the ones that have achievements tied to them. I looked them up one by one, and yes, it is still very much possible to get them in one run, albeit with a little save-scumming (which is what I was looking for anyway).

There are currently 4 ending achievements, one of which I already unlocked previously (the default "good ending"). The ones I'm missing are: Sacrifice yourself and become a mind-flayer, dominate the netherbrain and rule the world and take control of the netherbrain in the name of Bhaal.

All I need to do is leave Orin/The Tribunal as the very last thing to do in my playthrough, and then make a back-up save before confronting her. From there, I'll play the game normally, killing her and resisting Bhaal, then sacrificing myself to become a mind-flayer and subsequently dominating the brain to rule the world. Two achievements done. Then, I can load my back-up save, accept Bhaal's influence by dueling Orin 1v1 (getting the second Durge achievement from unlocking the Slayer form as well), and then finish the game as usual, dominating the brain in the process, thus unlocking the last achievement.

It was that easy, y'all. In fact, all of these can be done in a single playthrough, as long as you choose DUrge as your starting character (which I didn't on my first run). I'll still need another run just to clear out some of the remaining achievements I've missed (like saving all tieflings, because I killed Alfira lol), but if I had planned myself a little better, I could've gotten those as well.

I'm pretty sure you can *technically* get every achievement in one run, but playing Honor Mode on your first playthrough is not a good idea lol (and also, I wasn't thinking about achievements the first time around anyway, I just wanted to enjoy my first blind experience. That and the fact that Honor Mode wasn't out when the game released :b).

Then, you'll need to save scum at different points during the game. The earliest will be near the start of the game.

Note that some achievable events begin much, much earlier than the conclusion that gives the achievement with exclusive criteria that will require going back a long way to make a different choice.

Yeah, not the ones I'm after though. A simple back-up before confronting Orin is enough.

-Before the Orin fight. The choice after solidifies whether you are good or bad durge.
-Before House of Hope. Not sure if an achievement is tied to Raphael, but there are ending differences depending on whether you've made a deal with him.
-Before the Emperor vs Orpheus choice. Suggest bringing Gale and Karlach to get more options for endings.
-Right after beating the Final Boss. Saves you the trouble of having to fight the final boss between ending yourself and living on for certain choices.

That's the generic OC ending compilation though you'll need to re-run twice depending on good vs bad durge. Don't quite remember which gets achievements and I'm too lazy to check the list lol.
