BG2 is set in Amn, far South of Baldur's Gate.
BG3 is set Northwest of Elturel, and you head Southwest towards Baldur's Gate.
As you can see, other than the city of Baldur's Gate being featured in both Baldur's Gate 1 and Baldur's Gate 3, there is otherwise very little locational overlap between any of the games.
