Locations from BG1&2
I'm playing through BG1 and BG2 now, right now I'm on BG1.

I've been to a few places in BG1 but none of them seem familiar to anywhere in BG3.

Like Beregost, Nashkel and The Friendly Arm Inn.

Were these locations in BG3 and I missed it/don't remember them or did BG3 not touch on places outside the general setting, from the original games?

BG1 begins in Candlekeep, south of Baldur's Gate, and moves North towards Baldur's Gate.
BG2 is set in Amn, far South of Baldur's Gate.
BG3 is set Northwest of Elturel, and you head Southwest towards Baldur's Gate.

As you can see, other than the city of Baldur's Gate being featured in both Baldur's Gate 1 and Baldur's Gate 3, there is otherwise very little locational overlap between any of the games.

Been a few decades since I played BG1 and BG2 but I don;t think any locations/map were used in BG3

AFAIK only the city of Baldur's Gate is in all three games.
