Do you want to throw things? Hit things with an axe? Shoot fireballs? Turn into a bear? Jump around and kick people?
There aren't a lot of dedicated support classes - mostly just some bards and clerics but not necessarily all.
And all the classes are fun if you like their style
lol They answered your question. Did you not like the answer?
I thought Sorcerer was fun. Being able to cast more than once per turn without Haste or a Potion of Speed. Choosing the Dragon heritage was interesting as well, adds a bit of flavor.
I put the same amount of effort into the answer that the OP put into asking the question.
I think it is possible to build a bard and Warlock as a melee character. This would be an alternative for a charisma character. But I can't tell much about the build.
A Paladin would be also a charisma option, but I am not sure if I would have much fun to handle the oath breaking.
Or play a low charisma character the first time and do the charisma one in a 2nd run.
- Can achieve social interaction even with low/moderate charisma score because of expertise
- Can spot and disable traps, as well as pick locks and steal stuff.
- They hit hard, and having double actions provides extra damage, positioning and similar ( drinking more potions, jumping more, hiding more, etc... )
- Being stealthy will allow you to proper position yourself before starting an encounter.
- You will be able to withdraw if needed ( 2x sprint and you are out of combat ), ready to revive your team.
You can rely on your starting team mates for everything else ( Fighter, wizard and cleric ).
you can respec your companions to whatever you want.
