Audience Hall

3rd time playing all the way through, at point where ready to enter Audience Hall .... but when I do greeted by no less that 8 Giant Centurions and many others, all team killed on 1st turn, not even a turn to respond. This has never happen before, how can you move forward when so outnumbered and team is so easily killed on 1st turn...... did they change something in the game (or bug).... Even if lucky enough to have 2 members survive they surely would be dead next turn, if could even get up.

You might want to try shutting them down before you get to that part. How did you manage to get to that bit in your other playthroughs otherwise ?

In past I was able to turn off the factory , this time I did win the battle there but for some reason the the elf scientist turned on me.... tried talking to dead , did not work, I killed everything in there but can't disable the factory. I have everything from him, but still does not work this time. I don't recall this ever being an issue last times I played....

There's a book on the blind gondian that details the procedure to disable the factory.

I was able to go on another mission, then went back , use talk to dead and for some reason now it worked.... all good. The book on shelf did not work, I kept selecting the shelves by the 2 dead bodies in factory but the books would not highlight to even pick anything up , so never could get the book to read the words.... so left and came back later.....
