I beat honour mode yet did not get the foehammer achievement

I use no mods. The save file was started in the initial honour mode release patch where i played until freeing the nightsong before taking a break but was finished only a few minutes ago. I noticed that when i click continue it says tactician, yet when i go select the file, it does say honour mode. I also did have to deal with every legendary actions and what not. I did do the act 3 gale suicide ending. but i had no warning if i did choose that ending that the achievement would be forfeit if this is the case.
