Can't you just play as one and romance the other? That's always been possible.

I don't think that's ever been the case. My friend in our co-op playthrough was able to romance Shadowheart while playing as Gale.

Those are not just ANY two random girls kissing in the patch picture, OP. The picture depicts Shadowheart kissing Lae'Zel. Now, to actually pull this off in the game, you'd need to play one or the other Origin and have them romance the other person!

But don't you understand the deeper significance? SH and Bae'Zel start out as the bitterest of enemies. The fact that they are now kissing shows love triumphs over all! Don't you see this is the perfect message for Valentine's Day?

Also: are you telling me you are one of those het guys who can't stand to see two girls kissing? You mean you are the one of the ones who DON'T take out all those Girls Gone WIld videos at the library? Because I've seen who's checking them out, and they ain't always lesbians ...

So while I do agree in the freedom to do as one pleases, I also think there are limits due to that harm that can be caused by exposure to content openly as such in your example. Especially with children.

Statistically speaking, a large percentage of homosexual behavior has been the result of exposure to abuse in their early years. It appears this produces an unhealthy sexual pattern for various reasons which can lead to such types of mental conditions.

It is also why many of these abusers seek to expose children at very young ages to sexual content, to condition them to be accepting of increasing types of sexual behavior.

Government agencies have entire projects on mind manipulation through such programming of experiences.
