That is, if he is referring to some sort of "Special Edition" update. Otherwise SE could mean anything at this point. *shrug*
You can play fine with it saying not up to date.
The hotfix didn't change anything noteworthy to impact the stability of mods and the script extender.
I have assumed Norbyte's Script Extender. But still you are not wrong with that statement.
