Now the point they want to make is with it's inclusion it deviates attention from what they deem to be more important things that could do with work.
I've seen harder sex scenes in pg13 movies
Would you be so kind as to explain how this applies to the 5 questions?
Bear in mind, I ask this out of respect. This is in no way meant to be an attack on your response, rather an attempt at finding an understanding and achieving civil discourse.
Sex and romance are part of life. Stories should reflect life.
"The inclusion of violence adds nothing but appeal to people who want to vicariously live out their violent fantasies through fictional characters"
- That's how you sound.
Including sex adds flavour and depth to the romance. Romance is part of a good RPG.
And lets not pretend like anyone would complain about the sex bits if Gale wouldn't have hurt their frail masculinity by flirting with their Tav.
1) They deem the content unimportant to the over arching game
2) I mean there is a laundry list of them right now
And the rest is just trying to misrepresent the point they are trying to make. No-one has said "OMG this has caused X". From what I have seen it's been "Why couldn't they fix other stuff!?"
I never said if it was a good or a bad thing. I am saying it's importance varies from person to person.
And yes thats the entire point of playing video games, just because I said it in regards to sexual content doesn't make it any less untrue.
The whole point is to get some kind of fix from playing them and considering we can't all go out and become the paladins we wanna be then video games provide that.
Jinx, buy me a coke
I still had occasional weirdness without the romancing stuff, but there were no showstoppers.
Being locked out of content due to bad choices or bad rolls isn't a soft-lock in my opinion. Even when I locked myself out a whole bunch of content with my extinction run (the dead don't give quests), I still finished the game.
Actually, honestly, answering 1 & 2 helps to paint the picture a little clearer now. While I would appreciate a detailed response to 2, and would like to see a less . . . vitriolic (not from you of course) explanation of the matter from others, this is enough.
Thank you for your patience.
You generally shouldn't be looking for a specific answer to 2 on general forums, a better place to look would be bug and technical issues forums tbh.
