Merchant crashes the game

Hi,

I load a previous game but everything I try to interact with Arron at the Grove he is annoyed so I try to give him free item but then the game just freezes and crashes. Not sure if it is happening with other merchants too (so far) or just him?

Yes, this is a common bug after patch 6. Try clearing the game cache, there is a guide on this topic on Steam. If it doesn't help, you'll have to wait for a hotfix.

Will I need to reinstall the game afterwards?

Check this guide, it helped some people, maybe you will get lucky too. Unfortunately, I was unlucky.
