Disintegrating Night Walkers Legendary not working as intended in Cutscenes
Night Walker (Legendary Boots):
You cant be Entangled, Enwebbed or Ensnared and you cant slip on Ice and Grease.

If you enter the first time the Area of the Last Light Inn a Cutscene will start:
In the Cutscene you will be introduced to Jaheira.
Jaheira is casting a spell where Vines entangle you.

Because of this i thought to try out what happens when i am wearing the Legendary Night Walker Boots and cant be entangled.
Well to save you time... its not changing anything. One of the rare moments where it seems that Larian didnt think of another Introducing variant cutscene where Jaheira cant Entangle you.

You must understand every magic item contains a secret asterisk next to them.

(*) This item may not function during cutscenes, as cutscenes may be protected and driven by +2 plot armor.

BTW, those boots are mis-coded by Larian. They are supposed to be Very Rare, not Legendary or Quest items. They have no quest purpose.

As far as the Legendary/Quest item coding of the item goes: I just wrote that off as the item itself being an Artifact, nothing more or less beyond title recognition, like that *spoilers* Rotten magic staff you can find in Aunty Ethel's lair. (eww btw)
I think it's reasonable to have expected something here.
It's also reasonable for Larian to have missed it.
And it's also reasonable for this to be something Larian creates an alternate version for in a patch down the line.

There's precedent for something like this in the game (similar to stealing the Runepowder Bomb in the underdark, and how they made it so the sussur blooms wither upon getting out of the underdark so you can't have them on you for Gale's potential big scene at the end of Act 2), it's the kind of thing this game tries to do.

So if enough people bring it to Larian's attention I can see this being something they make better, good call OP!

It's not it's own fault, it fell into a cauldron of Invisibility potion as a child!

That was probably before your best friend in bluestriped pants fell in the cauldron too, a day later ;)
