wyll quest not added to journal

Hello, i recruited Wyll but his quest was not added to the journal. Is it normal?

Yup, exact same problem here. Definitely not normal. Thought I was going crazy by not seeing it in my quest log.
I tried verifying my game files. No difference. Tried finding Karlach despite having no quest or map marker, hoping the quest would fix itself upon seeing her. But again, no difference.
I even reloaded old saves and chose different dialogue options in my first conversation with Wyll before you recruit him, thinking maybe something would happen. Noooope.

And I've got zero mods installed.

I've submitted a bug report on Larian's website. I encourage you to do the same. I guess that's all we can do, for now.

I reported the bug too. I did some simple research and it seems patch 6 broke some things. Since it is like the third time i try to start the game and i always got issues like this i'll probably wait the fixing is completely done in a year or two. Internet already spoilered me some late game things...i waited years for this game and i got completely ruined

That's an understandable perspective to have. I can't begin to imagine the frustration, especially when enough time passes and all the late game stuff is all over the internet. I haven't completed the game yet either. Barely finished Act 1. And yet with every patch comes another reason for me to delay playing it lol.
I hope the hotfixes come fast for us on this, though. Just wishing they become aware of it, at least. And I hope one day you'll give the game another shot :)
