Is there a way to play Honour mode without the save limits?

Hey, so i'm in the camp of someone who found the base game way too easy even with modded tactician. I'm looking to play BG3 again and heard that there's a new harder mode which gets me quite pumped. But turns out the new mode will restrict your save. I am someone who loves a good challenge but despise Ironman modes in games. I don't mind getting my ♥♥♥♥ kicked in but tampering with the saves is where i draw the line. Is there any way to play with the stats and additional behaviors from Honour mode without the Ironman part of it?

The whole purpose of honour mode is a single save. LMAO

you can start Honour mode and then just get everyone killed on purpose, which will then allow you to continue the game as Custom mode with all the changes from Honour mode, like harder enemies but allow you to save

there's also a mod on the nexus that allows saves in Honour mode, I don't know what the difference is compared to above... I think you can rename your saves with it, or have multiple saves.. I dunno

Maybe some people do not one this part, but the other difficulty changes like the epic abilities of bosses. So custom difficulty would be a solution.

This is true for Larian's DOS series where it's just Ironman mode on Tactician. BG3 added new enemy behaviors and further increases the stats from tactician (also new boss fights?) exclusive to Honour mode.

they add it alongside honor mode. it's the difficulty right next to it

Custom Mode does not have the Honor Ruleset unfortunately and if you start in Honor Mode you will be stuck in Ironman (Single save file).

Good thing is that this mod does not apply a dependency to your save files, so the save files will work with any future changes and can be easily removed at any time with no problem.
It disables the achievement for Honour mode as it should though.
