Sounds about right.
Nope, it's a choice and a bad one.
Larian even warns about this in their patch notes.
It's Larian. You seriously noticed just now?
And if you thought they wouldn't when they have a history of allowing same-sex relationships in their games, well, I don't know what to tell you.
I didn’t realize it until I had purchased the game and spent two hours creating characters. Also, it became more gay as content was released. I can ignore a gay character here and there, but making everyone gay was ridiculous.
Which would imply that this is content you actively sought.
In my real life I don’t know or deal with LGBT people. I shouldn’t have to deal with them in my CRPG either unless I specifically bought a game with that content. It should at least come with a warning label like other games that contain this type of material.
I don’t use mods and I definitely don’t want this content.
You have never been hit on by male companions in camp? You have never encountered gay gnomes? You never met Isobel and her girlfriend? You never had some random dude in Baldur’s Gate tell you about his husband for no reason? I don’t believe you.
