Just came back to this thread because I've seen the same, so what I posted above is (probably) wrong now.
Is it the same weapon? How boring.
The weapon deals the highest amount of damage out of any weapon in the game.
It would be news to me as well. But then I did not check on everything after the patch.

But it seems odd to waste Divine Intervention on acquiring THAT when there are far better cleric weapons in the game. Especially as there is a far better use (Sunder the Heretical) for Divine Intervention which you only get to use once. (Well, without mods anyway.)
The Deva's mace is a very nice weapon. But it isn't meant for players to acquire. As always, there were ways to get it through exploits. I don't judge. Exploit as you wish, but they might have patched this one in Patch 6.
