Umbral Gems Bug Game breaking

I’m at the the part where you have to put your gems in the ancient alter to see the night song and it broken. They decided to add three slots for the gems instead of 1 and no matter what I do it won’t let me through. Like it was even broken so why change it. If you find a fix for this let me know.

From what I hear, the bug only occurs if you had a save with gems already placed? I'm not sure though. Either way, it's likely going to be a "Wait until it gets fixed" situation.

On the other hand, I think it's possible to download previous patches of the game through steam, you'll have to look into that if you decide you want to go that route; it's been a while since I've done it with a game. But you could likely down-patch and load your previous save, at least until your progress pass the orbs.

I have gale when using knock , it's showing as invalid target

Is your game modded, have you ever played it modded? -> if the answer is yes to either of the questions, then it is still a mod issue. Either because it still is active in your game, or because you failed to remove it completely.(Deleteing and using the remove might not remove a mod and its lingering effects completely.)

Hey the issue is definitely due to mods .


I redownload the game again after removing everything and once it has completed I did the entire shar trails once again and finally reached the altar and now while trying to access the altar , it was asking to insert 3 gems at the same time but upon inserting them the door unlocked

So the issue is definitely due to mods

Same thing happened to me, I used Wyll to knock the door, this worked for me
