Lol I accept your concession.
Keeping in mind you started our interaction with your own strawman.
Gay content being in the game doesn't mean it's thrown in your face. You bought it: you get to complain about it, but don't pretend like it was forced on you.
He also could be calling Wulbren a "flame in the dark" because he found him to be inspirational during a dark time in his life.
Dude, I've seen some crazy reaching on these forums, but you're REALLY reaching.
It's cool man, you no longer have an argument. Keep up the strawman
Yeah, he never says Wulbren is an "old flame". Those are YOUR words.
When asked why he is looking for him, he says "Flame in the dark." Could also mean it's as hard to find him as a flame in a very dark place.
How did we get onto Geology? I'm struggling to find the correct side to laugh at more as it is.
Now, again, allow me to note, the player has to ask two different questions to get those two answers ... it's not like Barcus is necessarily following up with one answer after the other.
Like he says "my..." leaves that hanging in the air, and then says "...flame".
1 - Calling Wulbren in a possessive fashion (My Wulbren) which is very often use in relationships. My wife, my spouse, my girlfriend, my <name>.
2 - Calling Wulbren a flame, which is the dialogue option that comes up AFTER mentioning Wulbren as "my wulbren". You cannot get this dialogue before Barcus calls Wulbren "my wulbren", only after. That means it is quite literally directly correlated.
Sorry, again, context does in fact say Wulbren and Barcus were in a relationship. You trying to dismiss the context is not a valid argument.
I'm sure there's a mod somewhere for Xrystus to download too!
