Script Extender update

They updated the Script Extender, and now the game loads with the dozen mods I was using. I HAVEN'T PLAY TESTED YET, but the game loads now, at least. YMMV

Do I need to do anything to have it update, or is it an automatic thing? I'm mostly asking because when looking at the se I didn't see anything about downloading any updates

Script extender has to be updated manually from github.
There's a mod at nexus that packaged it for Vortex but I believe that one is still outdated.

Please read the FAQ:

Q: The game was updated and there is no new extender download!

A: The Script Extender auto-updates; there is no new release on Github when a Script Extender update happens, the game will download and apply it automatically when launching.
When a new release is published on Github, it means there was a change in the updater, not the Script Extender itself.

how is that outdated since it installs the October BGSE launcher release and BGSE launcher hasn't been updated since

Also, worth noting that Norbyte doesn't maintain the BG3SE mod on Nexus.

I use the BG3MM, and downloaded the Script Extender from that. Didn't appear to auto-update, but the new ver had only been out for <1 hour when I tried it.

When main menu loads bottom line will say that script extender dated 16-17 of Feb.

Not helped my case doe, save not loading and CTD with no message.
