The Elixir of Hill Giant Strength now applies its effects when thrown.
It's true it does, you can even throw it into a tight packed group and apply it to everyone in the splash zone...

BUT...when thrown the potion only lasts 10 turns instead of until long rest. Works normally when drunk.

Ah — I knew there would be a catch.

Still, that’s an awesome option to throw immediately before walking into unknown battle (if you have multiple strength-based characters) similar to pre-casting a bless.

I guess that is why a certain guy proposed to drink bleach instead just using it for washing. The effects when drunk are more potent for ... understandable reasons.

I'd still love to know how stepping in a puddle of potion (wearing shoes) allows it to affect you... What other game (except ...D:OS) allows such idiocy? One would think that they'd remove such an obviously cheesy mechanic - but no, in true Larian style, they add it to more potions.

Trust me: if I step in a puddle of cat pee, whether with or without shoes, it is affecting me.
That is just realism.

+1. Stepping in a puddle of gasoline may still see me catch on fire. That is just science.

It's not like magical potions expressly are to be imbibed and metabolized. We may learn that invisibility pots work like sunscreen -- you may have to lather them on for all we know.
