Breath in.

I love doing that :3
There is not such kind of Mac gamer.
I will adjust the steps a bit :-)
1. If you have mods you don't need to reinstall clean. You only need to:
- zip and remove the mod folders and replace any mod dlls with the original ones in the game folder, like e.g. "NativeMods" and corresponding dll files + BG3SE dll file (all in bin); "Mods" and "Public" folders in the game Data folder
- rename the BG3MM loading file "modsettings.lsx" in the Folder Appdata/Local/Lian Studios/Baldur's Gate 3/PlayerProfiles/Public" so no mods are loaded
And, of course, do not try to load a previous modded save ;-)
1a. You just have to see what's broken. So far looks like Script Extender. Good thing I can't use it. Maybe other reports will come in.
2. Self-evident advice never hurts, I suppose.
3. It's actually kind of useful having a patch delay, as I get a period of time to see everything the patch messed up or changed, before having to apply it. So it doesn't bother me much. The patches rarely add anything of GREAT consequence, and I don't do MP, so again for me not so big a deal. The forum ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over broken mods or game changes have also usually subsided by that point.
Then you've never worked as a repairman.
