Here is my real issue with this: I think they completely rewrite the game, then delete the old version. Near the end of the update, my hard drive went from 300gb left to 200gb left... and when the update was over, it went back up to 300. This is 1) useless wear on the hard drive, and 2) that means you need at least 100gb spare to update the darn game...
You only need that much if you do it like that.
I downloaded the full game yesterday, launched it, did some settings and closed it to play with a friend today. Today the patch hit and it told me to download ~19gb. My internet is slow, so i decided to leech at university. I headed over there and now the download seems to be 103gb in size.
This is human nature, I recommend getting used to it over getting frustrated with it.
