Kill Cazador without light spells?
Hi!
None of my characters have a light Spell (no daylight spell). Only Gale has Sunbeam and can briefly show Cazador, but the effect vanishes as soon as he moves away leaving no time to strike. Can anyone suggest an alternative strategy? Also, I go with Astarion to have his cut scene so I miss one team member during the fight.

You can make those throwable light bombs using your alchemy skill. Those should work.

Don't clerics and druids get that for free? Open the spells tab and activate daylight. You can use it right away so long as you have enough. Of the corresponding lvl spells avalable.

Cheese method of getting Astarion back;
Summons don't activate the conversation and Cazador and co are not initially hostile. So summon Scratch, run him up to the very back where Astarion gets dropped off before the fight starts and stealth him behind the bat's sightlines. Scratch can use "Assist" and he'll be in stealth so no-one will target him. As soon as his turn rolls around he can free Astarion.

As to light spells I beat him without any, you just need to make sure you hit him with at least one Radiant attack each turn (Clerics and Paladins both have plenty) then he won't regen, which is the main thing.
Oh, and drop the Fallen Gur Hunters quick, those pains can paralyse your guys two different ways.

Use any of the gear that lets you apply radiating orb, blood of lathander mace has a sunlight aura too but it's kind of small.

Hunger of Hadar seems to do the trick for me. He will be stuck in it, but will cast call lightning spells from it at you. Sit at the edge of the stairs and cast globe of invulnerability on your group and having a couple of elemental summons as a buffer while he's just stuck in the cloud works pretty well.

On last run I just had my tavern brawler on haste and lobbed Nyrulna at him from the globe and used the other 3 to kill the magic user and any of the beasties that made it past the elementals. Oh, and I didn't let him speak and prattle on, I just attacked before his big speech and auto-capture of Astarion.

I one turn him every time i am there.

Just hit your attacks.

Most of your teams should do around like 60-200 dmg per turn if you build correctly.

He has like.. 120 health just hit him.

Why worry which spell school your are using.

The 4th playthrough that i just finished today, 1 turned Orin.. which is 7 unstoppable + 170 health.

Just hit things with your attacks.

Because when he is invisibile he doesn’t seem to take damage…

And Astarion story still goes on as supposed?

Isn’t it something you have to choose when leveling them up? Because my Shadowheart doesn’t seem to have it

Take Astarion and three Paladins and smite him to death. Easy.
