price increase
I wanted to buy the game yesterday for X$, but today it costs three times as much! What is this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? Why did 100,000 players (number of reviews on steam) buy the game for the "old" price, and I have to buy three times as much? And this despite the fact that the game is still in early access!

From the store page:

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
“The price of the game will remain $59.99 USD / £49.99 GBP / 59,99€ EUR at launch. As Steam makes periodic changes to their recommended regional pricing to reflect changes in purchasing power and currencies around the world, the price in other currencies may change to reflect Steam’s most recent recommendations.”

So basically - it depends on your currencies current value.
Or should be anyway - prices change periodically.

if you are in a country with fluctuating currency, that is unfortunately just how it is, I see people from Turkey especially complaining about rapid unexpectedly increased pricing.

thanks for your answers guys
Price increased x3.2 in turkey and x4.5 in argentine yet remained the same in ukraine/russia/cis $/kazakhstan etc which are also used to cheese regional prices worldwide. Smart :)

Nonetheless, didn't want this garbo game from garbo devs before, neither want it now lol

Then why are you wasting your own time on this forum commenting on it? Go find something better to spend your time doing, whining about a game you clearly had an interest in at some point doesn't help anyone, least of all you.

Not how world works. Not everything needs to be confined to narrow view like that.

For the last time everyone is free to post feedback aslong as they dont break the rules.

On the subject of the thread there are lots ways of going around reginal pricings without braking any rules...

Most easy one is to have a friend gift you the game from favorable pricing region.

Nobody said they can't, but likewise people can ask why they would even be in this forum reading new posts about a game they're supposedly disinterested in.

cos they can and they have their reason.... they can be dishoenst about it doesn't really matter does it.

Aslong as you do not break the steam rules... Even if you do you can, if you dont care about those and what happens after. Freedom of choice and speech and all that good jazz.

Bowing to the reality that some currencies aren't worth the paper they're printed on?
