Throwing bug?

Whenever I I try to throw anything like water bottle of alchemists fire, my character just "throws" it on himself I have tried aiming it at enemy or on the ground it makes no difference. Clicking the item on the hotbar or using the throw action, same result Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?

sounds like a bug, although sometimes if you're at weird angle and you throw something at a target it will hit something inbetween, so make sure there isn't something in th way even if it looks like it isn't

Might be a bug. But there are two different ways to throw a item. One is to click on the item in your tool bar and then you should get a arc showing how far you can throw it and then you select where you want to. The other way is to right click on the item in your inventory and select "throw" and then get the same arc.

You indicated you have tried those two ways. But are you using a mouse or controller?

Mice have very low Str score, try something else!
