This is why I want a level editor - I have a lot of experience with the Warcraft 3 and Starcraft 2 editors, and little else, although I did pkay around a little with NWN a long time ago.
Then again, maybe I'll just ask GPT to do it for me.
while i agree level editor would be great, if I had to choose it would be the engine since that can make everything, you can do anything larian can.
Fingers crossed we get both.
This is really the only thing that makes me doubt if a level editor or a GM mode will exist. wotc is really trying to push the VTT, I'm not sure if they'd want the competition for themselves if BG3's GM mode takes off.
"Not at launch, maybe not at all. It is very very difficult to implement." There are referring to the DO2 one which is an advanced editor which uses the game engine. So it will depend on how much people want it and how much wizards of the coast want to interfere.
