Will the saves at this point still carryover to full release? I was wondering if anyone knows. I know its not often a game does such a thing but will it happen for this game?

no, every new game build deprecates old saves and the release update will also deprecate old saves

No. Saves will not carry over due to how different the full game will be from the EA.

No. The save you make 72 hours before release will carry over.

Not any saves you made before the 72 hrs however. In other words, you have to start all over again with a new char 72 hrs before the release date.

The FAQ specifically says

Will Early Access saves be compatible with the full release?
No. Due to the amount of updates and changes expected during the Early Access stage, saves made during Early Access will not be compatible with the full version of the game when it releases.

So the answer is NO, no saves will carry over.

Just to explain the aparently diferent answers:

No, EA saves will not carry over, but there's a 72 hours exclusive access for those who already own the game. In other words, saves from those 72 hours are NOT considered from EA but the finished game and WILL carry over.

Is this info still accurate? So if I start playing on the 31 of july, then my save will carry over?

From everything indicated in the latest news update from the Devs, yes.
