Game is overrated and sucks

I played for like 30min-hour recently to see what the hype was about and all of social media and review blogs were praising it before refunding it as it was severely overrated and sucks. It is honestly not worth the hype and just sucks. Along with being an expensive $60 not many can afford on just one game and other games competing for your money, honestly why bother when there are other avenues as well. People are also saying to donate money to this game but why... I feel like all the reviewers and people praising are all of one hivemind or bots because this is definitely not the next coming of jesus or game of the year 2023. Like I feel like they are forced to say something good about the game to fit in with the mainstream trend of saying this game is unique or applauding it for being different than everyone else when this type of game has existed in previous renditions as well, its not very different at all. People are scared to be critical to the game or drowned out by all the fake "positive" reviews.

For the actual game, You have to make an account then you start the game with almost no direction, barely any explanations and you are overloaded with bunch of icons, ui, map control, and what to do. The whole game is boring and slow. The customization isn't great or in-depth, you pick a character but players are given near no info to discern what anything means coming in blind. The combat/movement is clunky and uninutitive. The whole thing feels so boring and slow. You have no sense of real objective and what to do, the game doesnt tell you anything, you have to spend headache of hours trying to figure out the next step or where to go, you miss out on a lot of stuff. I shouldnt have to feel like this is school or a job and use my brain when games are here for fun and to relax. I shouldnt have to find Youtube guides and reviews. Imagine a new player and how overloaded they would be, how would that not turn them off from the game? You have to be an experienced person who already likes the genre to enjoy the game. Not to mention the immense bugs and glitches there are. There are a lot of other negatives as well. Sadly, being a critical opinion piece I expect this to just be downvoted and disagreed with by all the fanboys which is sad because then no real discussion is taking place. Anyone feel similar like me?

Overrated maybe, but it far from sucks. It's honestly a really solid game outside of cut content in the final act. Everything before Act 3 though? Great, fun, really solid and enjoyable.

Ok it doesnt suck suck, there are worse games out there but for the price we are paying, I think it "sucks" in that sense. Overrated yes like you said. I dont think its really good for everyone though, like I said in the post, the amount of things you are overloaded with coming into the game can be very discouraging and turn off a lot of new players. I came in with a fresh mindset as a newer player and was ready to learn and within a few minutes, I got a headache with all the things that were unclear and unexplained and it was really hard to continue on.
