Can't download BG3 on USB drive
Like the title says, I can't download the game on my 3.2 USB (250 GB). The error message says "Unsupported file system".

I've tried downloading another game on steam and it worked, but won't work for baldurs gate for some reason.

I don't have more space left on my hard drive so the USB is my only option. Does anyone know a fix to this issue? I coudn't find any online...

Check the properties of the drive in windows explorer; your usb drive might be formatted to the FAT32 file system which only supports files up to 4GB in size.
If so, you have to reformat the drive (this will delete the contents so back them up first!) to *NTFS* which has no practical file size limit.

BG3's biggest file is over 10GB, and your other steam game probably has sub-4GB files that's why it does work and this doesn't.

Hope that solves it for you!

Thank you, this actually worked:steamthumbsup:

P.s. For anyone else having this issue, after formatting there was a bug where steam said the USB drive had 0 Bytes of space, restarting the PC fixed this issue.
