outside of combat is a whole other mess of wrestling with the camera.
This doesn't even work if you want to use something in your inventory for example.
3 years of early access to still have oversights as big as this is honestly really disappointing.
Haha thats where I was too! The character I sent down had the lantern too... I had to jump everybody off the roof, and the lantern guy out the window, and swallow the hp hit.
Also as someone else said can click on portraits of mobs and if they are in view camera will change to their location. Can also use the tilde button to turn out highlights for your party and mobs. Again, situational.
But would have been nice to be able LOOK UP instead of just eye level and below.
Also, pro tip, do not have the party grouped, because there is combat and when it ends and everyone is on a different level, the will move to your controlled member and get blasted...and blasted... and blasted because they will not stop.
If you arent in combat, clicking portraits isnt an option, equally if you want to do a non-combat move, such as jump, it also wouldnt work.
It still has the height limit due to strength and can be blocked by being unable to find an un-blocked angle.
In combat you can use the throw action to double click on stuff since that requires you to target something or somewhere else after clicking the first target. That way, your character won't try to move but you can focus the camera on some other character.
Of course this obviously won't work when all the characters are in the same room / floor and you want to jump or fly to a different floor.
