Anyway...
Exactly! This is the first puzzle I've genuinely been mad at.
The solution to this puzzle is Shar, and its the idol of Shar, so it fits perfectly in my mind. Better than a book at least, which says ABOUT the solution, but isnt the solution (imo)
What i would do is put another statuette of Shar somewhere in that dungeon and that would be it.
Anyway whatever, its a small thing, but yeah that pissed me off at the time because i had to google it and it didnt make sense to me when i found out either
This is the only challenge in the gauntlet that does not have a stone, and it stood out to me as weird.
I don't think you've properly soft-locked yourself - rather you just cannot silence the night song.
I thought the riddle was a trap and since Shar was the answer, just going through the wall was enough (or can you not go through the wall if you didn't do a perception check?)
