Gauntlet of Shar - Lever Base?

Going through the Gauntlet of Shar, heading east from the waypoint, I've come across a lever base on the floor that can be combined with something. I';ve just about completely cleared the place (going to place the gems now), but haven't come across a handle.. Anybody happen to know where I might have missed it?

I think that lever base is right by the top of an elevator. If you go through the temple and get to the bottom I think the handle for the lever is sitting right beside the entrance to the elevator. I think it basically just lets you unlock a shortcut through the temple if you've already made your way through.

No, those levers are intact and that elevator already works. This is something entirely different.

No, those levers are intact and that elevator already works. This is something entirely different.

i put the lever into the lever base by the elevator. while the elevator already functions, this lets you call the elevator from the topside when the platform is on the bottomside. tldr unless there was another leverless base, pawgsniffer was right

I found three lever handles/bases in Cazador's palace. Maybe it is used there?

It's at the bottom of the elevator that the lever base is located. Past all the trials, there is an elevator call lever and a lever on the elevator itself, there is a lever handle on the ground near them. It doesn't show up when you hold ALT, you have to hover over it.

***ok...figured it out. if anyone wants to know, you cant insert anything from your regular inventory...it has to be on your hotbar.. hope this helps someone.

You can just drag the lever base pop up to the side and open your inventory with the i-key. No need to put it in your hotbar per say. Hope this helps.
