Whats the hardest fight in the game?

No spoilers since im almost at the end of the game but what is the hardest fight? I heard Raphael is pretty hard. Orin was so easy didnt even have any resistances just unstoppable.

He was bothersome but I actually had a harder time with the "boss" in Shadowhearts quest.

Captain at the ship at the very beginning of the game? Have no idea how can you beat him without savescumming.

"command" from cleric make him drop his weapon and equip it to lae'zel, then start having fun.

interrupt Gortash at his ceremony, about 30 people to kill, + him, and including watchers.

Master vampire with only 3 characters because 1 is being used as a sacrifice. Was so bad that I left that character at camp and KIA that master vampire with 4 other characters.

Of those I´ve done, Raphael was probably the hardest. Managed to grab a few to many good items after that so now my avatar is pretty much immortal.

From my tactician playthrough i would say:
- endboss because after easily killing the first ~15 enemies the brain itself has some kind of sudden death timer, you need to kill a 420hp object in maybe 3 rounds before all platforms are destroyed, i managed to kill it first try but 3 of 4 companions accidentically died. I can imagine that some people with not optimal builds get stumped by that.
- Raphael: surviving the first round is most likely the hardest point, after that a joke
- Shadowheart: Viconia+20 trash mobs fight was not hard but the whole place was spammed with darkness AOEs, dragged out the fight

The most annoying thing about the last 2 fights was that i missed the temple in lower city entrance and bought the cape with "blade ward on heal" at the end of my playthrough (on Shadowheart with mass heal you can buff your whole group with 50% dmg reduction against weapons = makes most fights easy).

Release the SWS! Sounds as if, much like in the original saga, a single OP item or spell/ability can completely trivialize entire encounters. Is that really the case here or a lot of the fights well balanced where that sort of thing doesn't occur?

I havent finished the hard fights mentioned here but releasing the mindflayers without killing the small brains is so far my hardest fight. The Mindflayers perma cc my 2 characters and the rest nearly died. Zevlor was the MVP.

Attacking Gortash at the ceremony without cheesing it is probably harder. I could plant the 10 smokepowder and 1 runepowder bomb around him. That should oneshot him.

I did found the toll collector reasonable hard especially if you toss coins ;0
still after 1 fight i figure it out. (also creative) wish more games and enemies are like this

Raphael (not only the hardest but the best) and Astorian quest boss (because I could not figure him out but still went down easy when I brute-forced him). rest were too easy.
