Circle of the Moon druid has an effective hp pool of 186 at lvl 6.

Rogue has the assasin subclass which rivals ranger gloomstalker in single target damage output.

Cleric has the domain of trickery...which sucks generally, compared to every other domian, even knowledge.

Then I'm doing something wrong on Astarion which I respecced to Assassin, I mainly bring him along for skill monkey business such as pickpocketing and open locks I can't smash or lockpick myself. Whenever I'm in combat he pales in comparison to my barbarian and other dps. :/

As assasin you want to target enemies that haven't moved in the turn order first, if you enter turn based mode and then first strike as assasin from hide, there's a chance they won't see you (for most encounters it's grom 40-80%), which means you can first strike 3-4 times till the enemies come, since assasin almost reliably 1 shots most enemies on the first turn, you could theoretically end the entire encounter in stealth, altho it tends to not last long due to the search ai.

Without this ye assasin falls off real hard.

my lock lv 12 is 26 ac atm and gets more ac from feat using finesse weapons so i hardly get hit. plus with potion and surge and a item i can fire 12 blasts of eldritchs per short rest. so i would put my lock in top ranking. plus it was my last dnd pen and paper i played yrs ago i remade the same

5e made bard really good.
I hate it.
Bards are to be mocked and riduculed as wannbie wizards.
Same as warlock.
Not be better then wizards.

druid is fun, i made the fire girl 6 lvs barb/ 6 lvs druid. that combo means i still can fight really hard out of form and you can use frenzy before turning for ppl that didnt know to get extra damage while in forms. she never dies

Astarion is a beast at level 8+ with the right gear.

5e bards are no joke, bardic inspiration is great, they get acess to sime real good debuffs/buffs, they can do literally everything.

And depending on college you can make your paladin solo entire encounters by just pre-buffing with college of valour bard.

Wizard is S , Sorc is S and Cleric is S in general. However not all their subclasses are S

I wish there would be less paladin gear and more magic user gear.
